The speed limits and traffic signs and signals topics and one full mock exam are free with no account. NSW Learner Pro opens everything for A$14.99, paid once.

Common questions
- Is the NSW Learner practice test free?
- Yes, to start. The speed limits and traffic signs and signals topics with their lessons, drills and 179 questions, and one full mock exam, are free with no account. NSW Learner Pro unlocks all nineteen topics, all 1,177 questions and unlimited mock exams for A$14.99, paid once.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your progress is saved in this browser. A free account saves it to your account as well, so it follows you to another computer or phone, and it is the account a Pro purchase attaches to.
- How is the mock exam marked?
- Like the in-person DKT: 45 questions in two sections, 15 general knowledge with 12 needed to pass and 30 road safety with 29 needed. You must pass both sections. No answers show until you submit, then you see every one with the reason and the rule.
- What does the readiness plate mean?
- It reads your recent drills and mock exams and gives a score out of 100. Your L plate turns into a green P when your topics and mock results say you would pass today. It is a study guide, not a promise about the real test.
- Is NSW Learner connected to Service NSW?
- No. NSW Learner is an independent study app, not affiliated with Transport for NSW or Service NSW. Book and sit the real test through Service NSW.
