Near a tram at its stop, slow down and let people walking to and from it cross in front of you.

What it means
People crossing the road to a tram at its stop: what is the rule?
A tram stands on its tracks in the centre of the road. On the footpath a white sign with a green T marks the stop. Two people are walking across the traffic lane from the footpath towards the tram doors, along a faint dotted line. The yellow car is coming up that lane with only a short yellow arrow ahead of it, because it slows down to let them reach the tram.
What to do
1
Slow down as soon as you see a tram at a stop.
2
Watch the footpath for people heading to the doors.
3
Give way to anyone crossing, and keep clear of the tram.
