You may go straight or turn, once the way is clear and you have given way where needed.
What it means
Here the bottom lamp glows green and the red and amber above it are dark. A plain green round light lets you drive straight ahead, turn left or turn right, as long as no arrow or sign limits the turn. It gives you the right to go, not a guarantee that the way is clear. Someone may run a late red, and people may still be on the crossing.
Look both ways across the intersection before you move off.
Turning right, give way to oncoming traffic and people crossing.
Be ready for a green you are approaching to change to yellow.

A green light can change at any time. If it turns yellow you must stop, unless you are so close that stopping suddenly would be unsafe.
