What does the railway crossing with a give way sign mean in NSW?

The crossed RAILWAY CROSSING boards stand on their post above a small white plate reading 2 TRACKS, and below that is a red bordered give way triangle. There are no lights or gates here. You do not have to stop if the way is clear, but you must approach slowly enough to check both directions and let any train go first. The plate tells you a second line runs through.
