Signal · Turn arrows
Do not turn right while the red arrow shows; wait behind the stop line.
What it means
The left signal head shows a green round light at the bottom, but the right hand head glows with a red arrow pointing right at the top. Traffic going straight may move, while the right turn is held. While that red arrow shows, you must not turn right, at any hour and with no one around. Wait behind the stop line, not out in the intersection, until it goes off or turns green.
Stop behind the stop line in the right turn lane.
Wait there, not inside the intersection, while the arrow is red.
Turn only when the arrow goes off or changes to green.
