Regulatory sign · Turns and direction
Everyone at this point must turn left, the way the arrow shows.
What it means
A thick black arrow climbs the white plate, bends and points hard left, with the single word ONLY beneath it. It is a command, not a suggestion. Every vehicle at that spot has to go the direction the arrow shows, so straight ahead and right are both ruled out. When it hangs over a lane, being in that lane commits you to the left turn.
Spot the sign early and get into the correct lane before it.
If you are already under it, turn left as directed.
Plan a route back if left was not where you meant to go.
