Whichever way you turn, let people crossing the road you are entering finish first.

What it means
Turning and giving way to people crossing: what is the rule?
The yellow car sits at a crossroad with two yellow paths drawn from it, one turning left and one turning right. Each path stops short of a person walking across the street it leads into, along a faint dotted line. There is no zebra marked. It does not matter which way you go: anyone on foot in the street you are entering has the right to finish crossing first.
What to do
1
Slow down as you start the turn and look into the street you are entering.
2
Stop short of anyone walking across it.
3
Finish the turn once they are clear of your path.
