What it means
What does the narrow bridge sign mean in NSW?
NARROW BRIDGE is spelled out in two lines of black capitals across the middle of a yellow diamond, with no picture. It warns of a bridge where two vehicles can pass, but only just. There is less room for error than on the road either side, and a truck or caravan coming the other way takes up much of the width. Slow down and sit well to the left.
What to do
1
Ease off before the bridge, not on it.
2
Keep well left and watch for oncoming vehicles.
3
Hold a steady line across, with both hands on the wheel.
